“The Hero’s Journey: Storytelling as a design tool”
Storytelling is one of the most powerful means of communication. We’ve been telling stories for centuries, long before we could even write them down, and stories have been crucial to our evolution. Stories are what enabled us to imagine what might happen in the future, and so prepare for it. Storytelling can be a very useful design tool and can allow us to persuade others and shape the direction of a project. We will explore some useful storytelling techniques and discover how storytelling was able to shape the direction of a project that I’ve recently worked on.
